# Can I reduce my credit amount while the contract is running?

With Gowago, you can choose to pay off your entire car credit balance at any time. If you do, you won’t be charged interest on the remaining amount, allowing you to save on interest.

However, you cannot make multiple larger partial payments that only cover part of the outstanding balance. The full amount must be paid off in one payment to benefit from the interest savings and to close the credit term early.
