# How much can I borrow with private credit for a car with Gowago?

With Gowago, you can take out a private credit for a car for a max. of CHF 100,000. Note that this is the max. credit amount. The car you are buying with this credit can cost more than CHF 100,000. In this case, the remaining sum must be covered by yourself as a down payment. 

Naturally, the amount of credit you are eligible for is determined by your financial situation and creditworthiness. Credit checks will be conducted in order to protect you from overindebtedness.
