# Leasing Bank

## What is a leasing bank?

A leasing bank is a financial institution that is specialised in the financial part of leasing services to its clients. In many cases, a leasing bank is also a traditional bank offering other financial services such as private accounts and investment services.

It may be different from a leasing company, which is the institution that provides the actual leasing service (arranging cars, customer service, trade-ins etc.) to customers.

In some cases, the leasing company is also a leasing bank. In the case of gowago.ch, Migros Bank is the leasing bank, while gowago.ch is the leasing company.
