# Un crédit automobile est-il déductible en Suisse ?

Dans le cas d'un crédit privé pour des biens de consommation, comme un prêt automobile, vous pouvez **déduire de vos impôts les intérêts** que vous payez sur le prêt, mais pas les **paiements du prêt** eux-mêmes. Cela signifie que vous ne pouvez pas déduire le montant total du crédit ou les paiements mensuels, mais seulement la partie correspondant aux **intérêts**.

Vous pouvez déduire jusqu'à **50 000 CHF** d'intérêts sur l'ensemble de vos prêts privés, y compris votre prêt automobile, au cours d'une année donnée.

En début d'année, vous recevrez un relevé de votre banque indiquant le montant des intérêts payés l'année précédente afin que vous puissiez les ajouter à vos impôts.
