Damage to the car

Problems with the car that are the result of damage – for example: a collision, a stone hitting the windscreen, etc. – are considered an insurance issue and must be reported to the car’s insurer.

If you have an All-in-one package from gowago.ch you can submit an insurance claim online.

Non-critical issues on the road

If your car develops a non-critical technical issue and it is safe to continue your journey, the car must be brought to the closest official garage for the brand of the car. A technical expert will be able to assess the issue and provide assistance.

Repairs

All technical issues that arose during normal use must be addressed by experts at official garages for the brand of the car.

Whilst assessing the car, the garage will check if your car and technical issue is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. Repairs for issues that are included in a valid manufacturer’s warranty are usually free, provided that the issue isn’t the results of damage caused by an accident or collision.

Cars with All-in-one Premium have an extended platinum warranty included. Show your All-in-one card to the garage before any repairs have taken place, so that the correct arrangements and billing recipient can be made.

Repairs that are covered by the insurance policy included in an All-in-one package may be carried out at a Baloise partner in order to benefit from the reduced deductible.

As always, if you have any questions please contact gowago.ch customer services:

Will I get a replacement car?

If your car breaks down or is damaged whilst on the road and you’re unable to return home or continue onward travel, your insurer may offer a rental car of the same category as the insured vehicle.

If you’re a customer with an All-in-one package whose car cannot be repaired the same day, Baloise Insurances covers return or onward journies organised with public transport (max. 1000 CHF per case) or by rental car of the same category as the insured vehicle (max. 5 days and 500 CHF per case).

Replacement cars whilst the car is being repaired are not provided by gowago.ch and are not included with an All-in-one package.

This is because garages may not have an available car to provide whilst yours is being repaired, costs can vary from CHF 60 to 100 per day of rentals, and we cannot predict the total cost of a replacement car to include it in the price of our All-in-one packages.
